The Health Researchers Youth Academy is a two- week health careerresidential camp hosted by the University of Kentucky Area Health Education Center that allows students to ' experience college before college.' It is for high school students who are seriously considering a college major leading to a health profession.
During the two weeks, students become familiar and comfortable with the University of Kentucky campus and its facilities, and have many hands-on experiences. In short, this is a uniques opportunity for the serious student to sxplore the research segment of health careers and to prepare him or herself for transition to a university setting.
Applications can be done on the website or you can pick up a copy from the counselor's office
