Career and Technical Education (CTE) coordinates grant funding from State Vocational and Perkins IV for grades 7-12. CTE is an important part of our high school’s curriculum. Most of our students spend 20 % of their time in career and technical education classes. We provide our students with the in depth knowledge and specialized skills to prepare them for successful transition into college, military, or workforce. The high school graduation requirements state that all students develop and follow an individual learning plan (ILP) which emphasizes career development. By taking the courses required for a career major, students will be able to fulfill this requirement. We offer students an exploratory middle school program in business and the following high school programs (click on department links) that help prepare them for their chosen career path.
